Surrounding the swimming pool is a spacious grassy lawn, wonderful for children and games. Behind the house is the private tennis court, which can be lighted for night play.

Three bedrooms are in the main house ~ two upstairs, one downstairs. Two additional smaller bedrooms (most appropriate for teenagers) are in the cottage just behind the main house and adjacent to the tennis court.

Comfortable and unpretentious, Sea Grapes feels like home the moment you arrive. The tennis court, white sand beach and buoyant blue water invite playful days in the sun. From the pretty vine-draped verandah for chatting and reading ~ to the hammock for napping in the shade of the Sea Grapes tree ~ to the velvety lawn so soft under bare feet ~ here is a place to let your hair down. This is a heavenly retreat for guests seeking relaxation, excellent swimming and good service in an incredibly lovely location.

Driving time from the Montego Bay airport is approximately 60 minutes ~ well worth the drive through quaint old Jamaican villages and along a gorgeous seascape. (As a special treat on arrival or departure day, stop for lunch at rustic Time ‘n’ Place Beach, named “best beach bar in the Caribbean” by Conde Nast.) Discovery Bay is one of Jamaica’s treasures. Guests of Sea Grapes are privileged to live on one of the sweetest, prettiest areas on the Bay.

Yellow Room
Upstairs. Queensize bed; en-suite bathroom with bidet and tub-shower combination. View of grounds, pool and bay.

White Room
Downstairs. Kingsize or twin beds at guests’ option, flat screen TV and DVD. En-suite bath with shower. View of grounds, pool and bay.

Cottage Rooms
Two more bedrooms in casual cottage behind the main house. Kingsize or twin beds at guests’ option; en-suite bathrooms with showers.

• Dear Linda, My family and I spent time recently at Sea Grapes on Discovery

  Bay. I wanted to let you know what a wonderful vacation we all had. There is nothing that any one could have done to improve our time there. The staff was excellent.

  Kurline, Robbie, Joyce and Blossom were all friendly, agreeable, efficient and made us feel at home immediately. Kurline must be the best cook in Jamaica - catering to appetites and personal tastes of a wide variety of ages and pleasing everyone.

  I've never seen my grandchildren rush to meals like that. Our requests were always graciously and quickly accommodated. Joyce and Blossom kept the house and all our clothing and linens fresh and crisp in such a low key and pleasant manner.

  They both treated us so well and were always willing to answer questions and chat with us. The grounds were perfection - such a beautiful location - and Robbie had them immaculate. He makes a great rum punch, too. Also, our driver Clayton was excellent - a responsible driver and a pleasure to be around. He had lots of information about the area and suggestions for places to see. Sea Grapes is a beautiful villa with a great location. What appealed to me most, though, was the staff. Each of them in their own way added to our pleasure with their kindness and warmth. Within an hour of our arrival, we felt like we belonged at Sea Grapes.

  When we left we felt like we were leaving family. Although I have been in Jamaica several times, this was my first villa vacation and my family's first time in

  Jamaica. We have all agreed to start saving for our next trip to Sea Grapes. It was wonderful. I want to thank you and all the staff for a great time.Cecelia
