Pinnacle is a casual open-air Caribbean-style villa overlooking the historic Tryall Great House, golf course and the sea. Nine tennis courts (with pro’s standing by) are within walking distance. The golf pro shop is four minutes down the hill in Pinnacle's complimentary golf cart. Designed for indoor/outdoor living, Pinnacle is an up-to-date and comfortable home.
The heart of the house is the octagonal living room which has a typical Jamaican high rafter-and-beam ceiling and mahogany parquet floors. Here also are the wet bar and mini-fridge, deep-cushioned sofas and chairs, television, DVD and sound system. Separate den from living room. From the living room, three large window walls open to the verandah and the magnificent view.
Meals here merit special mention. The Pinnacle chef has completed the Villas by Linda Smith Gourmet Cuisine Course and earned the chef’s emblem. Grocery budget is $45 per adult per day, $20 for children. Two dining rooms, one in and one outdoor. A delightful fountain graces the terrace and feeds the large, artistically-shaped heated pool located a few steps below. Ample chaises, chairs and tables are available for pool-side sunning. Other sitting areas are outside each bedroom.
The convenient location is a plus. Pinnacle is only minutes from Tryall's golf and tennis pro shops, beach club, beach bar, beachfront restaurant and boutiques ... easily reached by shuttle or complimentary golf cart. The Great House verandah is legendary for its complimentary afternoon teas and cocktails that drift into breathtaking sunsets.
For larger groups, Pinnacle is easily combined with its nearest neighbor, Fairwinds, for a total of seven bedrooms, eight staff and two swimming pools. All guests may enjoy meals together at either villa.

The Tryall Club Membership
A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club. On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world. Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda and other PGA championship events. The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons. The Tryall tennis club features nine Nova Cushion courts, some lit for night play, with world-class pro’s on call. All whites required.
The beach is well planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar. Work out in the well-equipped gym. Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, hobie cat and sunfish are complimentary. Glass bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef and any captained craft attract various fees. Enjoy the week’s events, including the Monday Night Manager’s Cocktail Party and the Wednesday and Friday night beach parties (Friday Seafood Night on the Beach Buffet is excellent).
On the hill, enjoy the historic Great House for afternoon tea and a magnificent view from the terrace. Shop at the commissary and boutique, meet for happy hour at the bar, and browse a wealth of Jamaican, Haitian and Cuban works and souvenirs in the Gallery of West Indian Art. And don’t miss the massive Tryall pool!
