| For those who
knew the old house, the new Sea Island is a total metamorphosis. Dramatically
renovated in 2005, the result is a spic ‘n’ span more spacious home.
Interiors feature an eclectic mix of English Colonial, French and Jamaican furnishings
on floors of cool white limestone and rich mahogany. Bombay chests, antiques and
art, and Oriental and French linen rugs enrich the rooms.
The piece-de-resistance
is the 125-foot L-shaped verandah with Italian marble tiled wet bar. Here, too,
is the al fresco dining area for memorable home-cooked meals created in Sea Island’s
state-of-the-art kitchen (with unique Jamaican Blue Mahoe center island,
6-burner
stove, microwave, ice maker, dishwasher and much more).
Sea Island sits
on seven private acres of gently sloping land with a view of the sea beyond its
tennis court and lush lawn. Grounds are adorned by Royal Palms and trees bearing
breadfruit, mango, naseberry, pimento and wild orchids.
Smoking is not
permitted inside the house, only out of doors.

A special amenity available to Sea Island guests is membership
at Round Hill ... just minutes from the villa and one of the finest private
resorts on Jamaica's North Coast. Membership entitles guests to access Round
Hill's private beach, fitness center (treadmill, free weights, rowing machine
and guided aerobics) and tennis on hard-surface courts lighted for night play
and with pro on call. (Charges apply to lessons and ball boys.) Round Hill
also offers a jogging trail, gift shop, logo shop, beach bar, piano bar, Continental
cuisine in the hotel restaurant ... and unforgettable long sunsets from the
waterfront terrace. For additional charges, members may enjoy the spa, Pineapple
Kids Club, a range of water sports and parties (Monday beach party, Wednesday
Caribbean Curry Night, Friday Jamaica Night). Here too is the Business Center
