Villas By Linda Smith: A Jamaican
Jewel
Once you stay at one of Jamaica's Villas By Linda Smith, you'll
never go back....
That is, you'll never go back to the ordinary way of life. Rush
hour traffic, deadlines and life after your honeymoon seem impossible.
After all the special attention, delicious food and pampering you
get here, you'll want to stay in Jamaica forever.
American Linda Smith created this island dynasty of luxury villas
nearly 15 years ago when she leased her own Montego Bay area home.
Word spread of her dedication to style, service and hospitality.
Others trusted Smith with leasing their gorgeous homes. And now
53 villas later, Linda Smith has the perfect choice for a villa
for every bride & groom and their extended family.
Tranquillity House is ideal for
a private getaway for two. With your own personal butler, chef,
gardeners and house maid, this beachside beauty will keep you coming
back year after year. There's a private pool, beautiful gardens,
kayak and gazebo for candlelight dinners alongside the beach. Inside,
three air conditioned bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and showers,
marble floors, elegant antiques and comfortable, overstuffed light
colored furniture make this a home away from home.
Silent Waters and Destiny
Villas can be leased for a large family gathering for your destination
wedding. The two villas are hidden above the main road and over
look Montego Bay. Both have separate pools, bars, satellite tv,
internet access and acres of lush, tropical fauna. Silent Waters
has a helipad for the bride & groom's grand entrance or quick
getaway. These are remarkable homes which can accommodate up to
30 family members and friends. Both come with dedicated staffs.
The awesome views are free of charge!
Hanover House, Goat
Hill and Windsong are three villas
on the west side of Montego Bay. They too can be leased together
to accommodate the entire wedding party. Wedding pictures are stunning
at Hanover House. A backdrop of the house's architecture of white
stone pillars and arches among the red and fuschia bougainvillea
and greenery make every bride and groom look stunning.
Windsong's four-bedroom private villa
includes a tennis court, pool, poolside bar and private staff. Almond,
coconut, avocado and orange trees offer shade and tropical scents.
Fountains adorn the entrance of Windsong preparing you for the serenity
you are looking for in a private villa.
Goat Hill's three bedroom villa also
includes a pool, use of the tennis court, full staff and extraordinary
views with delicious trade winds for a real Jamaica feel. Mahogany
and cedar wood is found throughout the house along with white canvas
upholstery and eclectic art.
What may be the ultimate Jamaica villa for a destination wedding
is actually a working plantation. Good Hope
is an 18th century citrus plantation. Its Country House has 10 air
conditioned bedrooms and overlooks the 2,000 acres of papaya, orange,
ackee, breadfruit, banana and coconut trees. The River Cottage¹s
three bedroom retreat rests near the cool Martha Brae River while
the Garden cottage has two bedrooms near a tropical garden. Guests
can come together and enjoy meals at the main house, swim in the
river, go horseback riding or take advantage of the large covered
yoga studio with beautiful views of the plantation.
What sets Villas By Linda Smith apart
for honeymooning and destinaton weddings in Montego Bay is Smith's
network of wedding professionals. She is selective in her recommendations
for wedding coordinators, masseuses, florists and private drivers
and more. She helps make anything possible for the bride and groom
during their special stay in Jamaica.
