CABIN JOHN, MD April 11 , 2005 - Parents - pack up the kids and get ready to head for the sand and sunshine this summer in Jamaica - where Villas by Linda Smith offers a wide selection of family-friendly villas - perfect for children of all ages.

The “Family Collection” offers amenities such as grassy lawns and outdoor play areas, a safe distance between the swimming pool and the house, plenty of children’s videos and toys and membership in various nearby Kids Clubs in the area.

These clubs offer crafts for youngsters, games, Jamaican cultural activities and entertainment all day long. Juniors golf and tennis programs are also available.

All of Linda's villas come with a private staff including a cook, laundress, housekeeper and butler. The cooks are happy to prepare separate meals for children and serve them prior to the adults' dinner hour. Cribs and high chairs are provided upon request.

FAMILY COLLECTION

TRANQUILLITY
Relax in this beautiful five-bedroom beachfront villa with tennis court, large grassy lawn, wide beach, sea kayaks and tranquil views of the sea. The well-appointed rooms of Tranquillity stretch over 4,800 square feet of rich marble floors. The spacious Great Room opens to an 86' furnished verandah, perfect for family gatherings. The master suite is privately located in the east wing. Two more bedrooms connect through a hallway in the west wing. Across the lawn on the water’s edge is the two-story Beach Cottage with king-size suite upstairs and child’s bedroom downstairs. The good Tranquillity cook will serve the kids first, and then present a candlelight dinner to adults.

BLUE HEAVEN
Perched on a peaceful hill, Blue Heaven is named for its breathtaking panorama of the sea and its calm, relaxing ambience. The grounds are adorned by elegant palm trees, bo ugainvillea, hibiscus, ginger lilies, frangipani, bamboo, ferns, lavender and periwinkle. Velvety soft zoysia grass invites barefoot walks around the lawn. The pretty living room has comfortable overstuffed sofas and chairs. It opens to a colorful children’s den with television, VCR and games cupboard. A daybed in the den can accommodate one extra child and twin-size air mattresses are available as well. Just outside the den is a removable gate should parents wish to control access of children to the pool area. A portable Pack ‘n Play cloth and mesh playpen is available - recommended for children less than 34 inches tall and less than 30 pounds, and unable to climb out.

KNOCKANDO
Designed especially for families with youngsters, this deluxe 5½-bedroom private villa sits atop prestigious Round Hill and features a 20‘ x 40’ private pool. DVD, VCR’s and cable televisions include family and children’s programs. The fanciful children's playroom/bedroom includes a toddler-height sink and toilet, bunk beds, trundle beds, and loads of toys, games, videos and stuffed animals. It's a child's paradise! Enjoy quality family time on a 1,300-square-foot verandah with generous seating areas, bamboo wet bar, icemaker, fridge, cable television and safety gates. Home-cooked meals typically are served al fresco on the long verandah. Use the complimentary four-seater golf cart to whiz the children to the Kids Club and beach just down the hill.

FAIRWINDS AT THE TRYALL CLUB
Fairwinds at Tryall is a beautiful four-bedroom private home with a magnificent sea view. Families may enjoy cable television, VCR, and a library of videos and CD's. Peruse the bookshelves or enjoy an old-fashioned game night with many selections available. Fairwinds is very child-friendly with a portable crib, high chair, kids' videos, inflatable pool toys, nannies on request and membership into the nearby Tryalll Kids Club. Families can also enjoy complimentary non-motorized water sports. After the kids are tucked away in bed, candlelight dinners are served on the upstairs dining balcony with the romance of lighted palm trees dotting the hillside and the sparkling lights of cruise ships and Montego Bay shining across the water.

WHARF HOUSE
This four bedroom waterfront home offers two bedrooms in the main house and two more in detached cottages. The old brick building that housed a kitchen in 1755 is now a fully outfitted child's dream cottage. Stuffed animals, dolls, toys, games and miniature furniture fill this little fantasy room ... plus mini pool table, rocking lion, dollhouse with 4 tiny furnished rooms, Fisher-Price play kitchen, dressing-up clothes and little 4-poster bed for afternoon naps. Employment of a sweet Jamaican nanny enables the best of all holiday worlds: carefree parents by the pool and enthralled children not far away. The small private beach is every child's delight. Kids can also enjoy satellite television, VCR’s and a sound system with a CD player.

SWEET SPOT
Sweet Spot is a family favorite. Located on a wide sandy beach, Sweet Spot is like a pretty jewel box next to the sea. Its remarkable location is the best of all worlds ... a 6,000-square-foot, 6-bedroom private home with a huge lawn and beach. The 12,000-square-foot lawn is a great playground for badminton, croquet and volleyball where kids can work it all out. The adjacent 10,000-square-foot beach (gated from the lawn) is a wonderful seaside playground too. Sea kayaks are complimentary. The DSS satellite system offers news, sports, movies, music stations, and family and children's programming. The upstairs computer provides games for kids too.

FORTLANDS POINT
This home sits on a stunning site with three private beaches. Its breathtaking location on the tip of the peninsula has a commanding view that encompasses the turquoise water of Discovery Bay on one side and the deep blue Caribbean Sea on the other. The home is designed with five bedrooms for adults and two bedrooms especially for children. Fortlands Point offers two complimentary portacribs, one high chair and games for children (and adults too). The DSS television system includes Disney and other children's programming. For more water adventures at various costs, the 52' Suzie Q will take guests sport fishing and picnicking, a wonderful treat for adults and children alike.
