Dear Linda,

I am a T-8 to T-10 paraplegic. My family and I were guests at Drambuie in July and I wanted to let you know my experience and comments. I found the estate to be extremely accommodating and accessible from all the spacious rooms, verandahs and grounds to the walkways. My bedroom was very accessible with wide doorways and double doors to the bathroom. Although I was not able to roll into the shower, I found it very easy to transfer into a shower chair in the tub. The bed has room on either side for easy access and the bedroom itself is very spacious. It was lovely to have the verandahs off the bedrooms to enjoy the beautiful views. The living room/game room was very comfortable and also afforded outstanding views. We played pool and enjoyed family games every night. That was always after a most delicious meal. The food was outstanding. The walkways and grounds provide much freedom and are a treat with all of the fruit growing in front of you. Peel a mango that you have taken right off the tree or have Tony get you some coconut water (which I found very energizing). Since the walkways down to the pool have a grade, the attentive staff was always available and more than willing to lend a hand or to "spot" me for reassurance.

The staff was nothing short of fantastic and the experience at Drambuie was a pleasure from beginning to end. I highly recommend this villa for disabled persons as well as for the able bodied.

We just spent a week in paradise with our family. That's the best part, being with children and grandchildren. However, the glorious villa enhanced our stay. For our diverse crowd, the lay-out of the villa was great. We celebrated 2 birthdays and had Thanksgiving dinner while we were there and the staff was excellent in meeting our various and challenging needs based on the difference in ages of the group. The food and service was superb and the staff so patient and accommodating. We had a terrific time at Drambuie!
